The training has been given for researchers and instructors for three days. It, according to the organizers, was aimed at improving the research and grant writing skills of researchers and instructors. It was noted that such training is believed to be significant to build and lead successful research and

project teams, which along with other activities, would enabled the University to achieve its mission.

In his opening remark, Dr.Genanew Gofe, President of the University, pointed out the importance of attending such training given by distinguished trainers with vast research experience and grant writing. He further added that research and publication are among the duties of instructors derived from the missions of HEI  and as an HEI Salale University has been carrying out this mission, and yet building the capacity of instructors and researchers in training like this one will have paramount importance, to accomplish its mission efficiently with improved quality.

Mr. Tolosa Dadi, Business And Development Vice President, in his statement stated that the participants are selected from different colleges of the university based on their qualification and experience and enable to effectively and efficiently perform the designated tasks. He also gave credit for those who directly or indirectly contributed for the success of the training and reminded the participants that there are much remains to be done in order to build effective and strong research Teams.

Finally, Dr. Salomon Balemi, Academic Affairs Directorate Director and the Organizer of the event, appreciated the honorable guests & participants.
