The International Relations and Partnerships for Academic and Research Directorate organized a two-day training titled “International Relations and Its Impacts.

” Directors, Deans, Vice deans, Department heads, and Coordinators from various levels of the University participated.

In his welcoming remarks, Dr. Dejene Geshe, Director of the organizing directorate, stated that the training aimed to explore the evolving landscape of international relations and its impact on education and research through expert-led presentations, discussions, and knowledge exchange.

Opening the event, Dr. Genanew Gofe, President of Salale University, emphasized the institution’s commitment to strengthening local and international partnerships in teaching, research, and community engagement. He highlighted the benefits of such training, delivered by distinguished and experienced trainers, as a crucial step in enhancing the university’s academic and research collaborations.

The sessions were led by Dr. Firdissa Jabessa and Dr. Ketema Wakjira from Addis Ababa University.

The training concluded with an interactive session led by Dr. Tsegaye Deyou, Vice President for Academic and Research, where participants engaged in discussions and shared feedback to further the university’s partnership efforts.

Dr. Tsegaye encouraged participants to remain curious and apply their insights to build effective, mutually beneficial international relations.
