international program.
The annual training program of "Seeds for the Future" selected and announced its global ambassadors last week. Among the 12 ambassadors chosen worldwide, Asiya Khalifa, a fourth-year computer science student from Salale University, is the only Ethiopian youth to earn this prestigious role.
Her selection as a global ambassador was greatly influenced by her remarkable performance in the 2024 Huawei Seeds for the Future program. This opportunity allows her to participate in the 2025 ICT Talent Digital Tour in China, gain hands-on experience, and engage in other major international events to share practical technological knowledge.
Asiya's selection as a global ambassador not only highlights her dedication to advancing digital technology and innovation but also serves as an inspiration for Salale University and Ethiopian students at large. Thus, the recognition of Salale University student Asiya Khalifa as the "2025 Huawei Seeds for the Future" Global Ambassador is a testament to her hard work and determination. The University would like to congratulate Asiya and the entire university community, with best wishes for her continued success!
