Mr. Derib Getachew, Coordinator for Research, Community Service, and Industry Linkage, started the workshop with welcoming remarks. He encouraged attendees to actively participate and contribute to ensuring the effectiveness and sustainability of the research outcomes.
Dr. Hailu Gebru, Director of the Research and Extension Directorate, delivered the opening speech. He emphasized Salale University's commitment to conducting problem-solving research and delivering impactful community services. He also highlighted that such workshops play a crucial role in finalizing research reports, fostering knowledge exchange, and promoting collaboration among researchers.
A total of 19 research papers were presented, followed by interactive discussions, questions, and feedback from reviewers and participants. The workshop brought together researchers, senior faculty members, student representatives, and invited stakeholders, facilitating a dynamic platform for academic discourse and collaborative engagement.
