- Background:
Department of Nursing is one of the fast growing departments within the college of health sciences. The establishment of the department dates back to 2016. Currently the department is teaching about 40 postgraduate and more than 140 undergraduate students. The department has well organized skill lab and strongly working in collaboration with nearby hospitals and health centers.

- To be one of the best ten Nursing departments /schools/ in teaching and learning, research, leadership and community services by 2030 in Ethiopia.
