Under the general vision and Mission of Salae University the Student Services Directorate provides student support in providing multipurpose amenities. Our goal is to provide comprehensive services that will assist the students in achieving a successful and rewarding education experience in our university and at national wise. The Student Services Directorate provides student support in the following areas:

  • University safety
  • Enrollment     
  • Attendance
  • Discipline and alternatives
  • Counseling
  • Health
  • Students welfare

Our office goal is to provide comprehensive services that will assist the student in achieving a successful and rewarding educational experience in Salale University and at national level.

Student Service professionals support student achievement by addressing barriers to learning while promoting positive academic and social/emotional development. Student Services is responsible for the yearly   Rights Notification, student rights and due process, all forms of student discipline and alternatives to discipline, enrollment procedures, attendance policies, residency verification, and the Attendance review at residency.  In addition, we have a coordinated University-based Mental Health program that serves the social and emotional well-being of our students.  Our office is also responsible for foster care, disability and handicap students and alternative institutional settings, sites and placement through giving special attentions.  Our links in these areas are well-versed and pleased to provide assistance to our relatives in need.

The Office is liable by achieving the following power and functions.

  • Plan, Monitor and support, and coordinate various activities of the process and shall
    sign and administer the various contractual agreements with relation to students’ services.
  •  Develop different manuals concerning the basic activities of the process.
  • Plan different benefit package and stress it to the implementers; Prepare monthly, biannual, annual reports of the process and shall submit to concerned offices & Plan technical training and facilitate experience sharing in order to make the implements effective on discharging their duties and responsibilities.
  • Monitor and control the quality of student services like; cafeteria, dormitory, postal services, recreation, student counseling and guidance, and student health services.
  • Administer student services; ensure the physical and psychological well-being of students; Arrange sports and recreational activities for students;
  • Determine whether there is sufficient ground for disciplinary proceedings and implement disciplinary decisions of units of the university empowered to entertain disciplinary matters;
  • The initiation and handling of disciplinary proceedings in consultation with any relevant College/School dean; The administration of student organization and overseeing unions, councils, and clubs that operates under the organization; Supervision of special activities directed to assist disadvantaged students, the promotion of creativity of students in various fields.
