Vision
Our office visualizes being one of the top three selected universities from the fourth generations in advancing the understanding of gender equality for Quality Education, Conducting Research and Community Service,in 2025 G.C.
Objectives
- To promote gender equality in all academic prgrammes(undergraduate and postgraduate).
- To fight violence against women.
- To ensure gender equality in all the university activities.
- To provide support for improve, particularly female students in order to improve their academic performance and optimize their number with males.
Main activities

Coordinating diiferent supportsoffered by the university,individuals and NGOs for needy female and male students.

Motivate female students by providing awards to outstanding female students
Provide counseling service to female students.
Major roles and responsibilities
- Identify challenges and provide/suggest solutions faced by female students and staff of the University and;
- Mainstream gender in the teaching learning process, training and research activities of the University;
- Raise the awareness of students and other members of gender issues.
- Follow up and coordinate supports provided to female students by the University and other stakeholders;
- Work, follow up ,take appropriate actions and progress; on different gender-related issues raised by students and staff and report to relevant offices,
- Motivate female students by providing awards to outstanding female students
- Provide counseling service to female students
- Facilitate activities planned to support female students such as tutorials, trainings on assertiveness, study skills, etc. create networking with other similar offices in higher education institutes;
